About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, as the Support Services Officer, you will provide clinical services support to the Aeromedical team at the Adelaide base, by maintaining healthcare-related equipment and consumable management.
- Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of medical equipment and consumables, updating records and supporting with transfer of equipment and consumables between bases.
- Work with internal stakeholders to contribute to the maintenance of equipment and consumables.
- Support Flight Nurses with patient care and responding to patients within the Patient Transfer Facility.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Patient Transfer Facility and equipment/consumables storage areas.
- Contribute and participate in working groups and quality improvement audits and projects as required.
About You
- Competent in maintaining databases and Windows‐based computer systems (including networked systems), and in using the Microsoft Office365 suite of programs (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Able to prioritise and multi‐task and have excellent time management skills.
- Knowledgeable of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with individuals and teams.
