SEE Group has an exciting opportunity available for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter to join our highly professional and skilled Plant and Logistics Team. This full‑time local position involves field service repairs and maintenance of our extensive range of plant and equipment across civil construction projects on the Gold Coast.
Responsibilities
* Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment and light vehicles.
* Implement and adhere to asset maintenance scheduling.
* Travel between project sites and perform work in a field environment.
* Carry out lock‑out and tag‑out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
* Provide technical expertise to project teams and basic service training to plant operators where required.
Essential Skills & Attributes
* Background in heavy plant, mechanical and electrical processes.
* Clear understanding of excellent customer service.
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks while maintaining focus on priorities.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office applications.
* Highly effective planning, organising and problem‑solving skills with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
