Responsibilities Support the maintenance function to achieve departmental KPIs concerning equipment availability, cost, and schedule compliance. Utilize the Maximo maintenance management system (CMMS) to document breakdown maintenance activities efficiently. Complete assigned repair and preventative maintenance work orders promptly and professionally, ensuring safety and efficacy. Identify and report additional repair or condition-based maintenance activities utilizing the Maximo system. Collaborate with production teams daily to understand schedules, overtime, and available maintenance windows. Promote teamwork and inclusive practices within the maintenance department. Set up Non-Destructive Testing (Eddy Current Tester) equipment as required, including calibration procedures. Perform installation, commissioning, testing, fault finding, and repair operations as requested via work orders in compliance with relevant Australian Standards. Communicate effectively with the Electrical Supervisor and fellow electricians to ensure smooth transitions between shifts, including starting shifts on the floor for a better handover. Qualifications Possession of a Queensland Electrical Licence - Electrical Fitter/Electrical Mechanic. Industrial Electronics certification is advantageous. Crane, forklift, and work platform licences. C Class driver's licence. Experience Demonstrated industrial experience in a continuous production environment. Familiarity with operation and fault diagnosis of DC and AC Variable Speed Drivers, overhead electric cranes, pumps, AC motors and controls, and basic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Willingness to work a three week rotating roster: - Week 1: 2 x days/2 x nights - Week 2: 3 x days - Week 3: 3 nights Proficiency with Computer-Based Maintenance Systems (CMMS).
