You’ll assist with timesheet entry, leave checks, payroll admin, and reporting. You won’t be running payroll end-to-end, but you’ll gain exposure to payroll legislation, Fair Work, SCHADS awards, superannuation, and Employment Hero payroll systems.
What You’ll Do
- Enter, check and update timesheets
- Assist with leave, deductions, and allowance updates
- Support onboarding/offboarding updates in payroll systems
- Run basic payroll reports and maintain documentation
- Respond to straightforward payroll queries, escalating complex matters
What We’re Looking For
- Exposure to SCHADS or other awards
- Admin experience in HR, payroll, finance, or staffing
- Knowledge of Fair Work, NES, or modern awards
- Solid data-entry skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of payroll concepts (hours, leave, approvals)
- Able to follow processes and meet deadlines
- Confident with computers and quick to learn new systems
- Professional, clear communication
Why Join Us
- Work setup, 1 day WFH
- Mentoring and on-the-job training in payroll processes and legislation
- Hands-on experience in a real payroll environment
- Opportunity to grow into more complex payroll responsibilities
