Role Overview
The role is focused on delivering occupational therapy services to individuals with disabilities. As an occupational therapist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to participants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and abilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client goals and objectives
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote independence and participation
* Provide environmental modification advice to support clients in their daily lives
* Recommend and facilitate the use of assistive technology to enhance client outcomes
* Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration as an occupational therapist with the relevant professional body
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A client-centred approach to practice, with a focus on empowering clients to achieve their goals
