**CHPP Maintenance Superintendent Role Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance of all CHPP fixed plant and site electrical equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliability and compliance, managing safety systems, developing and executing maintenance plans, overseeing budgets and procurement, leading and developing a team, and coordinating across departments and suppliers.
This is a mid-senior level contract role in management and manufacturing, with opportunities for career growth and development.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead Maintenance Operations for CHPP fixed plant and site electrical assets, ensuring reliability and compliance.
* Manage Safety Systems by identifying hazards, leading investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Develop and Execute Maintenance Plans, including scheduling, defect management, and performance reporting.
* Oversee Budgets and Procurement, including approvals, cost control, and supplier contract management.
* Lead and Develop Team, including setting goals, coaching, succession planning, and managing performance.
* Coordinate Across Departments and Suppliers to support efficient operations and continuous improvement.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Applicants should have a strong background in electrical/mechanical maintenance in coal or metals processing plants, proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, experience delivering reliability improvement, and skills in fault finding on fixed and mobile plant.
Candidates should also be competent using SAP (including Master Data) and embedding work management processes, and possess excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills, along with commercial awareness and budgeting capability.
