Sales Consultant/Business Development (Tech Consulting)

This role is for a Sales Consultant that wants to grow their career in complex technology solution sales. A relationship builder who possesses a deep understanding of Federal Government clients. Someone with exceptional communication and negotiation skills who wants to work with clients to help solve their problems.

With a consultative sales approach, you'll originate new business opportunities and partner with our clients throughout their digital transformation journey, driving growth opportunities, and managing a portfolio of accounts. You'll create compelling sales proposals and tender responses, identify new sales opportunities, and position yourself and the NCS team as trusted advisors.

* Previous experience in a sales role with consultative and solution sales
* A strong network of contacts in federal government
* Extensive experience selling staffing or technology solutions and services in cloud, digital transformation, application modernisation, data and AI
* The ability to drive complex bids, RFPs and RFQs
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels
* The ability to build relationships within a complex enterprise and government clients
* A passionate self-starter with a collaborative attitude
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
* Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills driven by sales success
* A consultative approach with the ability to have value‐led conversations
