We're looking for a proactive and driven Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Commerce or Business, majoring in Accounting, and be currently pursuing a CA or CPA qualification.
The role involves assisting the group finance team deliver optimum results in compliance, financial and tax reporting. Key responsibilities include:
* Accurate recording of expenses and raising billing for entities
* Month-end processing and reporting
* Compliance tasks including Payroll Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, and Workers Compensation
* Preparation of income tax calculations and financial statements
* Supporting audits and external reporting obligations
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
* Accrue expenses based on agreements
* Ensure accurate and timely fee billing
* Assist with BAS, IAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax compliance across multiple states
* Support data preparation and lodgement for workers compensation
* Assist in annual financial reporting and audits for group and subsidiary entities
