Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. The role
We are currently seeking applications from a highly motivated and suitably experienced Cleaning Supervisor/cleaner. You will be remunerated at above award rates.
This is a full-time role; however, we are open to discussions regarding flexible hours.
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who can:
* Provide and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of college buildings;
* Maintain all cleaning-related equipment and supplies to an acceptable standard;
* Complete cleaning checklists;
* Identify and report improvement ideas for the efficiency of day-to-day cleaning tasks;
* Ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace environment by reporting any health and safety hazards. Comply with College workplace health and safety policy and procedures at all times;
* Work cohesively as a team member and, as required, assist team members to ensure all work tasks are completed;
* Manage staffing rosters
* Manage weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning cycles;
* Manage re-stocks, stock ordering, trades, training; and
* Manage cleaning quality
* Lead by example
Skills & Abilities:
* Be a practising Christian who is active in their own church and wholeheartedly subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
* Previous experience in a similar role, ability to cope with the physical demands of the job and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
* Ability to per tasks of the scheduled cleaning in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures;
* Have or be willing to obtain a 'Working with Children Blue Card' prior to commencement;
* Be eligible to work in Australia; and
* Have a current First Aid certificate and CPR or be willing to obtain.
