Transition to Work Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Transition to Work Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping young people aged 15-24 to develop their skills and find meaningful employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing strong relationships with employers and community organisations to identify job opportunities for our participants.
* Conducting assessments to understand the skills and strengths of our participants and matching them with suitable job openings.
* Providing support and guidance to employers to help them understand the value of hiring our participants.
* Liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of our program.
* Evaluating the effectiveness of our program and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the local labour market. You must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and be comfortable with regular travel throughout the Rockingham and Mandurah area.
