Job Overview
Senior Hospital Social Worker required for a hospital‐based role in the Northern Territory. You will join a team of 60 allied health clinicians, including Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplains, and ALO. Minimum six‐month commitment required with a February/March start date.
Eligibility
* P3 level role – salary of $110,873‐$124,173 – a senior level role.
* Hospital experience is mandatory. If you trained overseas, you must have been assessed by the AASW BEFORE you apply.
Experience Required
* Acute hospital experience, case management, crisis intervention, multidisciplinary team work, case coordination, facilitation of family meetings, psychosocial assessment. As a senior clinician, you will assist the Social Work Manager and provide support to junior staff on the team.
Team & Work Environment
Join this large allied health team, including some of my other locums. All have extended their time with this hospital. The team is inclusive and social.
Caseload
85% of the caseload is Indigenous, with 50% coming in from remote communities. I've had great feedback from my current locums and this is a great chance to develop your skill set. If you like the outdoors, the lifestyle here is fab!

* This is a fixed‐term contract, not a locum. You will accrue annual leave, sick leave, and paid public holidays
* Salary packaging, 6 weeks annual leave per annum, 3 weeks personal leave per annum (pro‐rated for a 6‐month contract), and a monthly flexible day negotiated with the manager
* Full time hours, Monday – Friday
