Logistics Assistant
Eco Fresh Organics is one of the largest Organic Growing Facilities in Australia growing Tomatoes and Baby Cucumbers.
We are currently offering the perfect opportunity for a highly motivated, Logistics Assistant, to join our dedicated Packhouse team in Cobbitty, South-West Sydney. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will assist in the Packing and Dispatch of our products.
The Packhouse Team is a multicultural team and is very unique. A fun, friendly and close knit team who really love to work together. This is very important to us and we want to find someone who is willing to become part of the Packhouse Family.
Your duties will include:
Packing and labelling customer orders, ensuring these are accurate and prepared within the required timeframe
Operating a forklift to arrange stock and pallets, wrapping pallets and moving completed orders to cold room storage
Labelling orders - Pallets, Trays & Punnets
Wrapping pallets
Forklift Load / Unload Trucks
Accurately completing Work Orders
Accurately completing documentation for dispatch
Assist in Packhouse - Sorting & Packing product to customers specifications as required
Accurately entering data into system
Maintaining cleanliness of Packhouse and Dispatch areas
**Requirements**:
High attention to detail
Good understanding of English and good, clear, handwriting
IT Literate
Able to multitask and work to deadlines
Able to work as part of a team
Own transport - public transport is not available to this location
Need to be punctual and on time
Forklift Licence
Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures, Food Safety & WH&S
Working Conditions
Working in a large indoor packing facility
Standing for 8 - 10 hours per shift, with breaks
Repetitive low muscle load movement of hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulder, neck
Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work - as required to load truck.
5am starts
