Your new role
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will support the Solution Architect in delivering a complex technology transition from a PaaS-based Virtual Management System (VMS) and on‐premises services to NetApp cloud‐based virtualisation services.
Accountabilities
* Work closely with the Solution Architect to define, document and manage technical and business requirements for transitioning from PaaS/IaaS and on‐prem environments to cloud‐based virtualisation solutions.
* Translate architectural designs and platform strategies into clear, testable functional and non‐functional requirements.
* Act as a key interface between the Victorian Government client, vendors, and technical delivery teams.
* Lead requirements elicitation activities including workshops, interviews and technical walkthroughs with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* Monitor and validate vendor deliverables to ensure work is performed in line with agreed requirements, architectural intent, and contractual obligations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong understanding of Virtualisation & cloud storage solutions using modern (post VMS) tech
* Strong understanding of platforming and transitioning from PaaS/IaaS to Cloud-based vitualizations.
* Experience working with, or for tech service providers.
Desired Skills
* Experience working on Cloud-based virtualization transitions
* Experience with Net Apps & Azure
* Experience with requirements for Data Management and Security
