Healthcare Delivery Lead
The primary objective of this role is to coordinate and execute the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to a prison population. As a Senior Nurse - Primary Care, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing expert guidance and mentorship to ensure optimal care delivery.
This position requires strong clinical assessment, care planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of quality improvement and evidence-based practice in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary nursing setting, preferably within a forensic or correctional environment.
The successful applicant will possess demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

Assist in risk assessments, patient support, and harm minimisation strategies, ensuring comprehensive clinical documentation and adherence to facility requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse – Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)
* Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of quality improvement and evidence-based practice in healthcare
* Experience working in a primary nursing setting, preferably within a forensic or correctional environment
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team
* A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
