About the Role:
As a General Practitioner at The Medical Centre of Gympie, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in line with best practice standards. Your role includes:
Key Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
* Conducting history-taking, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed.
* Managing chronic diseases in accordance with national guidelines.
* Administering vaccinations and ordering diagnostic tests as required.
* Collaborating with specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing staff.
* Ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping using medical software.
* Maintaining high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality care.
* After hours on call with rotating roster
What We're Looking For:
* Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
* Vocational Recognition (Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM preferred) or eligibility.
* Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred care.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
