About the Role:
The Liaison Librarian plays a key role in supporting teaching and learning across BKI campuses. You will design and deliver information and digital literacy programs, support research and referencing skills, maintain and develop library collections, collaborate with teaching departments, and provide high‐quality information services to students and staff.
Key Aspects of the Role Include:
* Delivering information and digital literacy sessions
* Providing specialised reference and research support
* Developing subject guides, online tutorials, and digital content
* Managing the selection, acquisition and maintenance of print and electronic resources
* Supporting the Library Management System and collaborating with the Systems Librarian
* Engaging regularly with teaching departments to understand learning needs
* Supporting help desk operations, events and campus libraries
This role is onsite across both campuses: 0.5 FTE Broadmeadows + 0.5 FTE Bendigo, please mention your preferred location in the application screening question.

* A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification eligible for ALIA Associate membership (or working toward)
* Experience or strong interest in academic or TAFE library environments
* Skills in collection development, research support, and information literacy teaching
* Strong digital literacy, including MS365, LMS familiarity, and ability to create online learning materials
* Excellent communication, customer service and relationship‐building skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple campuses and departments
