What You'll Do
As part of our Work & Earn Educator Program, you'll be paid while you train, combining on‐the‐job learning with a structured, supported qualification pathway. You'll gain real experience in a local school setting with mentoring and study support built into your role, allowing you to earn an income, learn new skills and work towards a recognised qualification at the same time – with an ongoing placement at the completion of your studies!
* You'll be right at the heart of the action, supporting children before school, after school and during school holidays in a fun, welcoming environment.
* You'll work alongside experienced educators to help design and deliver a safe, engaging and compliant program for primary aged children.
* You'll lead and support exciting daily activities that encourage learning, creativity and connection while ensuring every child feels included and supported.
Who You Are and What We Are Looking For
* A genuine interest in working with primary aged children and contributing to their learning, play and wellbeing.
* A positive, caring attitude and a willingness to learn on the job while completing a paid for and supported qualification.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
* A commitment to being organised, dependable and committed to following safety and compliance requirements.
* The ability to balance work and study with support from mentors and your training provider.
* A desire to build a long‐term career locally while staying connected to your community.
