Stonemason – Campbellfield, VIC
Salary: $40 - $45 per hour plus superannuation and overtime.
Location: Campbellfield, VIC. Full‐time, permanent position with an ASAP start.
Responsibilities
* Fabrication and installation of natural stone for residential and commercial projects.
* Cutting, shaping and polishing stone using machinery and hand tools.
* Measuring, gluing and manufacturing custom stone products.
* Working on custom‐designed kitchens and other stone projects.
* Operating throughout the production process and traveling between job sites to measure stone finishes.
* Reading and interpreting plans and drawings, using technology such as Proliner or laser for measurements.
* Liaising with clients and site managers.
Qualifications
* Stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience in the industry.
* Robust attention to detail and ability to read plans and measurements.
* Installation experience on commercial and residential sites.
* Experience operating CNC bridge saws, water‐jet cutting machines, and other machinery (highly desirable).
* Proficiency with digital measurement technology such as Proliner or laser.
