We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated individual who is a real team player and committed to working collaboratively to achieve exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete planning sections of audit files with limited supervision
2. Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the design of an appropriate audit approach for each assignment
3. Assist in developing an effective and efficient audit strategy
4. Execute audits of large private company and not-for-profit clients ranging in size and industry
5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships
6. Work closely with the engagement manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas or difficulties
7. Provide assistance to junior colleagues and build internal relationships
Qualifications:
1. Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting or equivalent
2. Ability to identify and solve problems
3. Self-starter with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
4. Professional presentation with a friendly manner and proactive attitude
5. Strong IT and computer skills
6. Ability to multi-task and effectively manage your own workflow
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
