We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishes Site Supervisor to join our team for a large-scale construction project on the Gold Coast. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction practices and techniques, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the finishes package, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
2. Regularly check work progress while maintaining high standards and strict adherence to safety regulations.
3. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers.
4. Liaise with the project management team to align objectives and maintain project integrity.
5. Maintain detailed site records (daily logs, progress reports, inspections) and provide team leadership to ensure timely, budget-compliant completion.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor in Tier 1 or 2 construction, with specific finishes experience and managing large-scale projects ($90m+).
2. Proven ability to manage and supervise complex construction projects with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
4. Proficient in project management software and skilled at reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated capability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments; a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
