Local Land Services (LLS) is supporting the livestock industry to make the transformative leap in Sheep & Goat eID Implementation in New South Wales. We are seeking a skilled and motivated person to help in this goal by working with internal and external stakeholders.
The Senior Biosecurity Officer plays a crucial collaborative role, helping organise, coordinate and train internal LLS staff. This role works closely with regional AB &W staff and DPIRD Industry Liaison Officers. This role is highly engagement focused with core responsibilities including, delivering essential messages, organising and delivering comprehensive training, and extending support to producers, livestock agents, and LLS staff.
In this role you will:
* Engage with industry to assist the transition to mandatory individual eID for Sheep & Goats
* Deliver the strategic extension plans to enhance customer understanding of Sheep & Goat eID implementation requirements
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on project achievement
* Develop customer capacity through targeted training and events
* Manage dynamic environments by translating plans into field programs
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Essentials for this role:
* Current NSW Class C Driver Licence and willingness to travel
