About the role
If successful, you will provide strategic leadership, program stewardship and operational excellence in the delivery of adult education across AMES Australia's AMEP delivery and the Central–Mallee Education Hub, whilst ensuring delivery on Education's five goals of:

Key Selection Criteria
* Degree in Education, Business, Management or related field; AND
* Minimum 6 years' experience in delivering operational adult education, settlement, employment or related services, including at least 3 years in a leadership position managing operational staff.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex education programs and achieving strong client outcomes.
* Advanced stakeholder engagement skills including influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to effectively manage complex remote sites with a broad range of external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated leadership of cross‐functional teams including teachers, with effective educational program development and delivery.
* Ability to lead, motivate and influence stakeholders in resolving conflicts and managing resources.
* High‐level communication skills to negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to emerging strategic issues.
* Strong strategic thinking skills including the ability to lead development of program strategy.
* The ability to consider strategic opportunities and informed educational strategy.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions and service delivery improvements.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and lead complex projects with multi‐disciplinary teams.
* Demonstrated business development skills in maintaining and growing current business levels according to agreed growth targets.
* Demonstrated ability to manage employees including performance reviews and quality checks and demonstrated capacity to provide leadership coaching, mentoring and support.
* Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements – in regard to quality assurance, compliance, recording and reporting – relevant to Education Programs.
* Understanding of the principles of language pedagogy, adult learning and the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
