Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our team.
This position involves working on various roofing projects, providing essential support in construction tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and possess a variety of skills related to construction and carpentry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete roofing tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Perform caulking and sealing to ensure roofs are watertight.
Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required during roofing projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work setting at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage is essential.
Experience with caulking techniques is a plus.
A background in maintenance person services can be beneficial for this role.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
