A leading SAP consultancy is seeking a senior SAP Payroll Consultant to join their expert delivery team.
This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who has led multiple payroll projects and is confident running workshops, designing solutions, and driving delivery outcomes.
Working alongside some of the country’s most experienced SAP professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to own key stages of the implementation process across large enterprise clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead SAP Payroll implementations (ECP and/or ECC) from design through to go-live
Run discovery workshops and guide clients through complex payroll configurations
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable solutions
Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation (STP, super, tax)
Provide hands-on configuration, testing, documentation, and post-go-live support
Maintain governance, timelines, and quality across deliverables
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading multiple SAP Payroll projects (ECP and/or ECC)
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Deep knowledge of payroll schemas, rules, and configuration best practices
Strong understanding of Australian compliance requirements
Ability to take ownership of outcomes and manage project phases
SAP certification in Employee Central Payroll (ideal, not mandatory)
Experience with Time Evaluation or Current Employment is a bonus
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must have full Australian working rights
