We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support procurement governance, policy development and end-to-end procurement activities within a government environment.
Key responsibilities
* Support the development and maintenance of procurement frameworks, policies, procedures and templates in line with VGPB and legislative requirements
* Provide procurement advice across the procurement lifecycle, particularly planning, evaluation and contract award stages
* Review and quality assure procurement documentation, briefings and reports, including Secretarial and Ministerial submissions
* Assist with the implementation of the Social Procurement Strategy and engage with key internal and external stakeholders
* Manage procurement communications, forums and content on SharePoint and the intranet
* Respond to procurement enquiries and assist with supplier complaints and disputes
* Promote cultural safety and inclusive workplace practices
About you
* Experience in procurement governance, operations and contract management
* Strong knowledge of procurement policies, processes and compliance requirements
* Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage stakeholders
* End-to-end procurement experience highly desirable

Casual Loading
