Lead Strategic Government and Customer Engagement
A key role in developing and leading a business-wide government and customer engagement program to shape, protect and enhance the company's external reputation and support strategic objectives.
This senior leadership position will focus on building effective relationships with government stakeholders, providing political and customer insights, and advocating for policy changes that benefit the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders to advance commercial and strategic objectives.
* Represent the organization to build its reputation within government and other customers as a trusted delivery partner.
* Provide strategic advice and counsel to senior leaders to support engagement, advocacy, and effective issues management with government and customers.
* Design and implement enterprise-wide customer engagement strategies, policies, standards, and practices to enhance connectivity, drive repeat business, and acquire new customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in politics, public relations, journalism, stakeholder management, marketing or related disciplines. Significant experience providing strategic communications, advocacy, policy, and engagement advice within a State or Federal Minister's office or senior advisory position within a government agency is essential.
