**How will I help?**
You will join WIB a leading loan house in the Australian Market as an Associate in the Corporate Loans team. You will be responsible for the origination, structuring, pricing, documenting and execution of corporate loans for WIB clients. You will report to the Head of Corporate Loans and be primarily focused on bilateral and club loan facilities.
Your role will involve working closely alongside CIB clients and relationship management teams, analysts, credit, internal and external legal counsel, Agency, and in a club setting, other external banks and investors to deliver superior loan product and exceptional client service.
You will:
- Assist in origination, structuring and execution of bilateral and club debt financing transactions for WIB Clients covering a variety of industries. This involves:
- Preparation client presentations and marketing materials, including pitch books, in relation to potential upcoming transactions
- Preparation and negotiation of Term Sheets,
- Negotiation of legal documentation with the client as part of a deal team and with assistance from legal counsel
- Assisting in the identification and management of financial and non-financial risks across the business
- Maintain internal databases and assist with market update presentations.
- Ensuring the highest possible service level to our Borrowers and internal stakeholders, contributing to Westpac's reputation for providing a premium quality service.
- Build close relationships across WIB, external legal counsel, and WIB clients
- Minimise risk and errors that have potential for financial and/or reputational risk to the bank

**What do I need?**
You will be an experienced high performer working in a credit or loan originations team with structuring and documentation expertise for corporate & institutional transactions. A high level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills are considered vital to be successful in the role. You will have expertise in loan documentation and understanding legal concepts. You will have strong relationship building and networking skills with the ability to influence quality outcomes for the business. Some more aptitudes which will be advantageous are:
