Administrative Assistant

This is a permanent full‑time position commencing November 2025.
The Role
- Ensure the seamless operation of administrative functions, including preparing correspondence, managing agendas and minutes for meetings, and maintaining effective filing systems for corporate information.
- Support communication and documentation processes, handling correspondence, drafting responses, and preparing reports for routine matters.
- Manage incoming calls, visitor enquiries, and appointments to contribute to a well‑coordinated office environment.
- Assist with travel arrangements, ensuring bookings and documentation are accurately prepared.
- Support financial tasks such as budget preparation, payment of accounts, credit card reconciliation, and expenditure monitoring.
- Maintain the office’s assets register and supplies, ensuring resources are effectively managed.

Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check as determined by the Director of Education.
