Where You'll Be Working
This position offers the chance to build your skills across a wide range of clinical areas including orthopaedics, ICU, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal. You will also gain exposure to specialties such as maternity, burns, paediatrics, and hydrotherapy. You will work independently and as part of a progressive, patient‐centred physiotherapy team, receiving regular supervision from experienced senior clinicians. The Department is located in Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, a modern facility within the Hunter New England region.
What You'll Be Doing
You will work across inpatient wards, covering Orthopaedics, Fracture Clinic, Surgical and Medical wards, Critical Care, Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal. You will have opportunities to work autonomously while being supported by senior physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy manager, and will contribute to high‐quality care as part of the multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering physiotherapy interventions, and engaging in structured education, supervision and professional development activities.

Have effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with patients, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team.
