About you
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and highly organised Legal Assistant looking for their next long-term opportunity to join our corporate team in Melbourne in a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting a busy team and fostering a collaborative environment.
Ideally you will have
* At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant in a law firm
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
* The ability to build strong working relationships
* Strong work ethic, ability to manage competing priorities and keep on top of deadlines
* A commitment to excellence with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work (attention to detail is critical)

Your role
An excellent opportunity exists for a senior Legal Assistant to become part of our dynamic and expanding corporate team in Brisbane. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our esteemed Corporate and M&A Partners, as well as our National Corporate Partners and other members of the corporate team. You will be responsible for delivering high-level administrative and secretarial support to a group of experienced fee earners.
Key Responsibilities
* Diary and inbox management
* Meeting, travel and event management
* Producing accurate, high quality correspondence and other documentation
* Liaising with clients, Partners, lawyers and other stakeholders electronically as well as in person
* Assisting with matter management, including file opening and closing, and matter and client relationship reporting
* Time entry, preparation of bills and processing monthly billing
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders including our clients
* Creating and managing documents in Microsoft Office and iManage
* Supporting business development initiatives, including assistance with preparing proposals
* Creating and editing PowerPoint documents creation. Ideally you will have experience designing professional, visually engaging presentations tailored for client and internal audiences.
