Moxy Services is on a rapid growth trajectory. We provide premium tourist accommodation cleaning services for resorts and Airbnbs across the Sunshine Coast, and our success is built on the quality of our people. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a proactive HR and Recruitment specialist to help us scale sustainably while maintaining our high standards and supportive culture.
The Role
This is a brand-new position designed to support our Divisional Managers and ensure our workforce remains our greatest asset. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the "go-to" for all things people, culture, and compliance. This role is initially 4 days per week, with the intention for it to evolve into a full-time position as the business continues to scale
Key responsibilities include:
* High-Volume Recruitment: Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our cleaning teams across the Sunshine Coast. You'll be proactive in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to stay ahead in a high-turnover, fast-paced sector.
* Advisory Support: Acting as a trusted advisor to Divisional Managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
* Compliance & Employment Law: Ensuring all operations align with the Hospitality Award, Fair Work regulations, and current employment legislation.
* Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Driving a safety-first culture by managing WHS documentation, conducting site assessments where needed, and ensuring all team members are compliant and safe.
* Process Improvement: Developing and refining HR policies, induction programs, and retention strategies to "future-proof" the business.
* Strategic Decision-Making: Using HR data and insights to help the CEO and management team make informed decisions about workforce planning.
About You (The Person Profile)
We are looking for a "people person" who is also a "process person." You understand that in the hospitality industry, speed is essential, but quality and compliance can never be sacrificed.
Our ideal candidate:
* Experienced: You have a solid background in HR Coordination or Recruitment (experience in high-volume industries like hospitality, retail, or facilities management is a huge plus).
* Knowledgeable: You have a firm grasp of Australian Employment Law, Fair Work standards, and WHS requirements.
* A Natural Communicator: You can build rapport quickly with everyone from frontline cleaners to the CEO.
* Resilient & Agile: You thrive in a "rapid growth" environment and don't get flustered when priorities shift.
