Maker Consulting Services is a fast growing and highly regarded employee-owned Civil Engineering, Surveying and Town Planning firm employing over 60 people in 4 offices. We work on a diverse range of public infrastructure and land development projects for clients across all sectors and industries within NSW and Victoria.

The Role
Located in our Shoalhaven (Bomaderry) office and working with Senior Civil Engineers, you will be exposed to high-profile urban infrastructure and land development projects, which will draw on your engineering design experience and provide further career development opportunities.
Your responsibilities would include:
* Providing comprehensive civil engineering designs and drafting services needed to deliver innovative, fit for purpose design solutions.
* On site investigations, along with data analysis to assist in identifying and resolving potential issues efficiently and effectively.
* Liaison with clients, contractors, service authorities, government agencies and other team members
* Assist Senior Civil Engineers with the effective management of projects throughout the project lifecycle, from the initial planning phase through to detailed design and construction
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
* 2-5 years' project experience. Experience in land development, roads and civil infrastructure will be highly regarded.
* Experience using multiple types of design software including AutoCAD, 12D and DRAINS, as well as sound knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing, with outstanding attention to detail.
* Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work autonomously as part of a dynamic and busy team
* Experience with local government design standards/approvals will be highly regarded
