This key leadership role contributes to the Digital Solutions Delivery Branch culture improvement journey and strives to create a workplace where we want to work, where we can grow and where we can succeed.

**The role**:
This pivotal leadership role within Digital Solutions Delivery Branch is responsible for developing and implementing best practise test management capability across eHealth that enhances delivery excellence. It provides strategic leadership in test management including development of testing methodologies and practice guidelines and alignment to industry standards.

With a strong focus on building the capability of the testing management practice within Digital Solution Delivery Branch the role will be accountable for the quality assurance of deliverables and their compliance with best practice and appropriate Queensland Health and whole-of-Government policy requirements. In addition, the position will be responsible for undertaking staff assessments to align staff competencies with competency and staff development frameworks to ensure the team and staff knowledge are current and relevant to the needs of customers' requests. Continuously look for opportunities to improve services in keeping with QH Standards and best practices, as well as industry frameworks for project management.

A key focus for the next 12 months is on implementation and embedding of relationships with industry and Queensland Health communities of practice to promote and share knowledge for the benefit of Queensland Health and other government agencies.

Are you right for this role?

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience in determining and driving the update of testing standards for all phases including owning the supporting processes and influencing all parties to confirm to those standards (SFIA Testing Level 6).
- Provides expert advice and sets direction for the management of risks associated with testing and advises upon preventative action when any risks become unacceptable (SFIA Testing Level 6).
- Assesses and advises on the compliance with and practicality of testing process alternatives, including automated testing (SFIA Testing Level 6).
- Initiates improvements to test processes and directs their implementation (SFIA Level 6).
- Ability to coordinate and assist the promotion, development and acquisition of ICT systems and services. (SFIA Skill: ISCO - Information systems coordination level 6)
- Demonstrated experience in setting the direction for specialist services on large scale, complex IM/ICT programs/project(s), preferably in the health care industry. (SFIA Skill: ITMG 6)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external technology vendors in order to partner with them in delivering the required ICT outcomes (SFIA: RLMT 5, SURE 5).
