We're seeking experienced Paint & Blast Supervisor to join our team on local project based in Mackay. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader who's passionate about safety, quality, and teamwork to lead our scaffolding team. We offer great pay and a supportive crew, position starting April.
Once the candidate has successful passed probation and evaluation period, the opportunity for full time employment will be offered for the duration of this project. Local's highly desirable, FIFO for the right person.
The right candidates shall be self-motivated with a positive attitude, the ability to work autonomously, and a proactive approach to safety.
Paint & Blast Supervisor
To be successful in this role, you will have the following tickets and experience:
Essential:
* NACE 2
* Certificate III Surface Finishings
* Supervisor training
* Working at Heights within 2 years
* Confined Space Entry within 2 years
* Drivers Licence
* White Card must be post 2009
* MSIC (preferred) or able to obtain
* Able to pass drug and medical
Role:
* Oversee daily operations of painting and blasting crews
* Coordinate and allocate work across multiple projects
* Ensure all surface preparation and coating activities meet safety and quality standards
* Conduct inspections, safety meetings, and progress reporting
* Liaise with site management and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
