Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager Information Technology, the Head of IT Operations will lead the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of Council's technology services and infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, reliability and security of core systems that underpin both internal operations and community-facing services. With responsibility for networks, applications and service desk, you will drive operational excellence and service improvement, while supporting the organisation's broader digital transformation agenda.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be an experienced IT operations leader with a proven track record of managing complex technology environments. You will bring strong expertise in IT service delivery, infrastructure management and cyber security, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative and pragmatic in your approach, you will build strong relationships across Council, vendors and external partners to ensure technology solutions are customer-focused and outcomes-driven.
