Optic Fibre Jointer/Technician – Outside fibre plant network
Ecowise Services is a leading Canberra-based electrical & communications contracting company, with interesting projects and a positive culture.
We have a large portfolio of clients for Carrier and Dark Fibre network installations/construction in the ACT region.
We are seeking a reliable outside fibre plant splicer to join our highly respected optical fibre team.
Experience with jointing loose tube and flextube fibre from core cable in external joints, end terminations and working on live networks would be an advantage.
ACA License with Fibre endorsement is desirable.
Must be an Australian citizen and be able to pass (or already possess) an NV1 clearance.
The work is located in the Canberra region, and this position will be permanent employment.
You should be a safe & tidy worker, and be able to create a good first impression. You will also need good paperwork habits.
Salary dependent on experience. Vehicle provided.
