We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team and take on key responsibilities in financial transactions, financial statements, and accounting standards.
* Record and summarise financial transactions of the agency.
* Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Analyse financial data and provide insights for effective decision-making.
* Undertake accounts payable, receivable, purchasing card, and banking functions.
Key Opportunities:
* Organise and process accounts payable transactions, manage cheque payments and bank transactions.
* Reconcile and process payroll deductions, and support accounts receivable operations.
* Manage debt recovery processes and develop effective liaison with major creditors.
* Deliver financial accounting and reporting services in asset accounting, general ledger maintenance, and statutory reporting.
* Maintain controls, oversee internal and external financial reporting obligations, and tax obligations.
* Develop and maintain relevant financial and accounting policies, guidelines, and procedures.
* Coordinate and prepare monthly reports and annual financial statements.
