About the Opportunity
As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality, holistic nursing care to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. You'll assess health needs, develop and implement tailored care plans, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.
You'll be supported by our Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), with after-hours access to the CNE for guidance. Your day-to-day will involve delivering direct patient care—including assistance with feeding and showering—coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges, and liaising with discharge planners, nursing homes, and home caregivers. Strong communication and family support will be at the heart of your work.
About You
You will bring:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Recent experience in a hospital setting, ideally within a medical or surgical ward.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Proven time management and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
