We are working on several exciting opportunities in the Naval sector and are currently looking for experienced Electronics Technicians. We are specifically seeking technicians with a Communications and/or Combat Systems background with experience supporting technical teams with engineering changes as well as assisting with product implementation activities.
The positions we have available will see successful applicants using their knowledge of maintenance activities and naval technical regulatory frameworks to provide sound advice and technical support to the customer and internal stakeholders. **Responsibilities**:
- Conduct planned and corrective maintenance, technical investigations, and support configuration change activities of maritime combat systems.
- Assist engineering teams with engineering change tasks.
- Assist with inwards inspection of materiel for engineering change tasks.
- Assisting with design & product implementation work. This involves using MS Office products.
- Assist with the coordination & implementation of engineering change tasks onboard RAN Vessels & Shore Facilities sites.
- Assist with maintenance tasks on onboard RAN Vessels & Shore Facilities sites.
- Assist with defect investigation tasks on onboard RAN Vessels & Shore Facilities sites.
**To be considered for a role you will possess**:
- Trade Qualifications in an Electronics or Communications.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to specifications and standards.
- Experienced in providing maintenance support in the Defence maritime environment.
- Experienced in defect rectification, installation, and servicing of communications or combat systems.
- Must hold Australian citizenship, have a current NV1 clearance and be ITAR compliant.
