With continued growth and exciting projects across Victoria, we're seeking an Accountant to join us at our Geelong Head Office.
The Role
We are looking for a talented Accountant to support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and contributing to smooth day-to-day accounting operations. You will report to the Senior Accountant and gain exposure across all areas of the finance function, developing the foundation needed for a long-term career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with month-end tasks including journals, reconciliations, and data entry
* Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
* Helping maintain accurate project cost data across job sites and business units
* Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and summaries
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities through data collection and analysis
* Assisting with compliance tasks such as BAS preparation, payroll support, and record management
* Helping to maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting
* Providing general administrative and finance support as needed
About You
We are looking for someone who has recently completed or is currently completing a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related field. You should also have a desire to pursue CA or CPA qualifications in the future. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential. You should be confident using Excel and open to learning new finance systems.
