The Role
We have various positions available for operators experienced with Excavators, Dump Trucks, or Front-End Loaders.
Training will be provided for suitable applicants who may not have experience with all equipment.
This role starts as casual, with the potential to become permanent.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Assisting the Quarry Manager with production scheduling and daily operational requirements.
* Safely operating a range of quarrying equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, dump trucks, and screening plants.
* Performing work safely in and around the pit, including loading, hauling, and maintaining haul roads.
* Completing pre-start checks and routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
* Contributing to continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and overall site performance.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* A current driver's licence.
* Experience and/or current tickets for:
* Front-End Loader/Dump Truck/Excavator
* Good Computer and communication skills.
* A proactive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude.
Please note: On-site training will be available for applicants who may not hold all the required equipment tickets but demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude.
Work Schedule
* Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 5:00pm
* Saturday work: As required
