We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team as an EAP Counsellor. This role involves providing short-term counselling and support to employees on a contractor basis in Launceston.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Deliver proactive mental health services and support to employees
 * Work closely with clients to identify and address their mental health needs
 * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective wellbeing strategies
Requirements:
 * Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work
 * Experience working in EAP settings or similar environments
 * Registration with relevant professional bodies (ASORC, AHPRA, PACFA or AASW)
 * Availability to conduct face-to-face sessions in Launceston
 * Professional indemnity insurance coverage
 * Possession of sole trader status (desirable)
