About the role
Join the dynamic team at Beaudesert Dental Care as a Casual Dental Assistant approximately 4 days per week. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our dentists, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, contributing to the healthcare of patients in Beaudesert.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures, provding chairside support
* Preparing treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
* Greeting patients, updating medical histories, and providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit
* Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining patient records
* Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic dental practice
What we're looking for
* Completion of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients, dentists, and the wider dental team
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive patient information
* Valid work visa or Australian work rights accepted
* Minimum 6 months of dental assisting experience preferred but not essential
