About the Opportunity:An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced Sales Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role within a nationally recognised business in the industrial and heavy industry sector.
This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion, with the current Sales Manager stepping into a dedicated Business Development position.
Based in Perth, you will lead and develop a team of 9 sales professionals (including Account Managers, a Key Account Manager, and Sales Coordinators) across Western Australia.
The portfolio spans both concrete and quarry operations, including eight concrete plants in the Perth metro area, regional operations in Kalgoorlie and the Pilbara, and one major quarry site.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will drive market share, revenue growth, and profitability in alignment with strategic targets.
You'll instil sales cadence and accountability across the team, with a focus on KPIs, conversion metrics, and disciplined activity management.
With a healthy pipeline already in place, your role will be to unlock further growth and ensure the team is set up to outperform, delivering on a forward order book that supports 120% of FY26 budget expectations.
You will also play a critical role as part of the WA leadership team—collaborating closely with Operations, contributing to state-wide performance, and fostering a culture of mutual accountability among your peer group.
About You:You are a high-performing and forward-thinking sales leader with experience managing sales teams in industrial, construction materials, or other technically inclined sectors.
You have a strong track record of driving outcomes in product-based environments and are confident managing a large portfolio of customers and projects.
Your leadership style is grounded in coaching, development, and performance management.
You're adept at introducing structure, setting clear expectations, and enabling your team to exceed their targets.
You're analytical by nature and use data to inform decisions and drive results.
You understand or are willing to learn technical concepts quickly and have no issue communicating effectively at both senior executive and frontline levels.
You thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and bring a hunger for continuous improvement.
Experience within a matrixed or large corporate environment will be beneficial, as will a strong desire to progress your career toward broader executive leadership roles.
