Join to apply for the Learning Services Specialist (Indigenous Targeted) role at UNSW.
This role is based on campus in Australia. The position is Full Time (35-hour week) on a fixed-term contract until May 2026, with remuneration at Level 4 from $81,335 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading. Location: UNSW Kensington and UNSW Paddington Library.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality services to students, staff, and stakeholders through face-to-face and digital channels as part of a team of Library Learning Specialists.
- Provide accurate and timely referrals to other Library or University units in response to inquiries.
- Be the first point of contact for students and external clients visiting our libraries (phone, in person, and online).
- Assist with information about Library and University services and support referrals as needed.
- Work five days a week on campus on a roster from 9am to 6pm, with occasional weekend and evening shifts. No work from home is available.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- A completed TAFE Library and Information Services qualification (candidates in progress will be considered).
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality, consistent, and effective client services.
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills, with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action.
