Full Time Administration Support Reporting Corporate Services

Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focusedAccounts Payable Officerto join our Finance team in Port Melbourne. This is a5-day week, office-based and fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys high-volume processing, building strong stakeholder relationships, and developing their career within a large, growing organisation. Australian work rights are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

* Process, manage and analyse high-volume invoices
* Experience processing 850+ invoices per week is required
* Match invoices to Purchase Orders and process within the accounting system
* Process staff expense claims and corporate credit card transactions
* Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to internal and external queries
* Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Meet strict deadlines to support month-end processing
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
* Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Excellent written, verbal and computer skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
* Demonstrated commercial judgement and decision-making ability
* Interest in process improvement and thinking differently
