We are seeking a skilled
Senior Surveyor
to join our clients civil contracting team on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role is central to delivering high‑quality subdivision land development projects and offers a balance of site and office work. You will oversee surveying operations, ensure accuracy in data collection and reporting, and work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to achieve project outcomes.
As Senior Surveyor, you will take ownership of survey planning and execution, manage workflows, and provide technical guidance to junior surveyors. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring that subdivision projects are delivered efficiently and to specification. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to precision.
* Demonstrated experience in subdivision land development projects
* Proficiency with 12d software (highly desired)
* Strong technical knowledge and field expertise
* Ability to manage both site and office responsibilities

Requirements

* Tertiary qualification in Surveying or Geospatial Science (or equivalent)
* Current driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams
* Capacity to mentor junior surveyors and contribute to team development
