Join a large and reputable organisation delivering essential technology services across multiple sites.Due to increased operational requirements, they are seeking a reliable and detail‐oriented Data Technicians to support device compliance and assetsmanagement activities for a project working with a large client based in Macquarie Park.
Your new role
As the DataTechnician, you will be responsible for the safe inspection, testing andtagging of various ICT devices across the organisation. Working as part of adriven technical support team, you will:
* Conduct test andtag on a range of equipment including printers, laptops, monitors, and peripheraldevices
* Test and verify powercables and leads in accordance with AustralianStandards
* Log all tested assets, ensuring device labelsand compliance information are accurately captured in internal systems
* Maintainclear documentation to support auditing, compliance and asset traceability
* Ensureall equipment meets safety and operational standards prior to deployment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, youwill have:
* Current Test & Tag certification(mandatory)
* Experienceworking with ICT hardware and accessories
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience testing and tagging cables and leads
* Valid National Police Check, or willingness toobtain one prior to commencement
* Highlevel of professionalism when working in government environments
