Description Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a rare opportunity to join a successful privately owned property group in a broad, high-impact executive leadership role.
Operating as a key strategic partner to the Managing Director, this role requires a hands‑on CFO who remains deeply involved in the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business while also contributing to broader strategic and commercial decision‑making.
This role will suit a commercially minded and operational CFO who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing beyond traditional finance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Managing Director on strategic, commercial and operational decision‑making
Lead group budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management across a complex multi‑entity environment
Oversee project financial performance including WIP reporting, profitability analysis and financial controls across multiple concurrent projects
Manage banking relationships, funding arrangements and external stakeholder engagement
Lead financial governance, compliance and reporting across the business
Drive process improvement initiatives while contributing to broader operational leadership and ongoing business growth across the group
Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a positive, inclusive and high‑performance culture
Skills and Experience Required
CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years' experience in senior financial leadership, preferably with property development and construction exposure.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate across both strategy and operations
Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building high‑performing teams
Experience with project financial management, cashflow and multi‑entity environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with executive presence
Hands‑on leadership style suited to a privately owned entrepreneurial business environment
