Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to assist our sales team in achieving profitable sales objectives and providing engineering support.
The successful candidate will provide preliminary sizing, cost estimates and quotations for innovative materials handling, conveying, and packaging systems using Heat and Control's product portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience with a global OEM and learn from the best in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce timely equipment selections, estimates and quotations that match customer requirements and company standards.
* Provide the Sales Manager with a basis for further negotiation.
* Maximize information available to the Company for project undertaking if the quote is successful.
* Attend sales hand over meetings and provide information to assist the Project Team.
* Assist in compiling and updating material, labour and specification data for use in future estimates and quotations.
* Create and develop sales layout drawings that accurately depict the equipment being quoted while ensuring functionality of the layout.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree/Diploma).
* Highly experienced in systems design particularly in product handling equipment.
* AutoCAD drafting skill particularly in the development of conceptual equipment layouts. 3D drafting experience would be highly regarded.
* An intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel etc.
